Programme of Events

Beginning Friday 3rd June to Monday 6th June 2005

Friday 3rd June:

12pm: Exhibition tour - Project organisers will adlib a daily tour of the degree exhibition that will develop as the days progress.

2pm: Micro Radio Workshop - As part of a larger project that explores the use of micro radio as a tool for collaboration and mass communication Chris Bird will lead a workshop enabling visitors to construct their own FM radio transmitters.

4pm: Art2architecture presentation - Peter Fink, an artist who established a collaborative studio that explores collaborative and cross-disciplinary practices will discuss his latest projects.

 

Saturday 4th June:

12pm: Dave Beech presentation †

2pm: Exhibition tour

4pm: The Questions Archive - Kelly Large and Ruth Claxton discuss their experience as custodians of The Questions Archive

Sunday 5th June:

2pm: Exhibition tour

Monday 6th June:

11am: Community Art Practice - Discussion forum with representatives from the fine art APC module at Middlesex university, † Bromley By Bow Community Arts Centre, John Seth, head of fine art at Middlesex University, and the project organisers to discuss the similarities and differences between contemporary collaborative practices and community arts projects.

2pm:Exhibition tour

4pm:Curating, collaboration or facilitation - representatives from galleries, artist led, commercial and public spaces discuss the role of the gallery in artists work.
